Joint solution reduces risk and accelerates time-to-silicon for advanced semiconductor platforms
A Milestone Year
Hello there,2024 has been a transformative year for Baya Systems as we emerged from stealth mode and made significant strides in advancing chiplet and SoC design. From extensive media coverage to ecosystem expansion, plus customer proof-of-concepts that are accelerating the path to production, this year has solidified Baya’s position as a leader in data movement solutions that are fundamental to the growth of the semiconductor industry. As the need for scalable, efficient solutions grows, Baya is poised to continue driving innovation and supporting our partners in shaping the future of intelligent computing and most importantly, growing our talented team. It’s quite exciting considering what the team has achieved in just 20 months since inception.
Launching Out of Stealth: Highlights from DAC 2024
Baya Systems’ official debut was at DAC 2024, where we unveiled our groundbreaking solutions, WeaverPro and WeaveIP, that simplify and accelerate chiplet and SoC design. While the industry has taken notice, we continued to focus on building out our products and lining up customers and developing disruptive solutions for the emerging AI and communications needs for the future of computing. You will hear more about this very soon, but for now it’s great to take a quick look back.
A Visionary Journey
Baya’s journey has been on focused and rapid, true to its mission of accelerating intelligent compute. Sailesh Kumar, founder and CEO wrote the introductory blog reflecting on the company’s mission to address critical semiconductor bottlenecks, the encouragement and support from industry leaders like Jim Keller and more. This blog takes us through the seminal events and milestones of Baya’s early journey, including securing investments, building a world-class team, and gaining customer traction.
The Product is Going Places
One of the hottest startups in the advanced computing and AI space, Tenstorrent, which under the leadership of visionary compute architect, Jim Keller, that raised over $693M in its Series D round has licensed Baya’s WeaveIP to advance their AI and RISC-V chiplet solutions.
And the Industry is Taking Notice
While we have been still operating intentionally, a bit under the radar, we have been carefully peeling back the covers of what Baya’s technology can do and how it reflects and responds to the industry trend:
And We’re Scaling Partnerships and our Ecosystem
Blue Cheetah Analog Design is a leader in customizable die to die and chip to chip connectivity solutions that streamline chiplet system design. Baya Systems and Blue Cheetah Analog Design, Inc. partnered to develop a chiplet-optimized Network-on-Chip (NoC) and PHY interconnect IP solution. This unified fabric streamlines multi-die designs, managing latency, bandwidth, and throughput efficiently.
