Known for his visionary leadership, and commitment to excellence, Nandan has built teams and cultivated businesses to deliver groundbreaking solutions for mobile, consumer electronics, AR/VR, IoT, automotive, and cloud infrastructure sectors.

During his notable tenure at ARM, spanning 16 years, Nandan held several exec positions, contributing to the company’s transformation into a tech powerhouse. As the VP of Product Marketing and then GM of ARM’s CPU Unit, he was responsible for the CPU business which grew to a $1 billion in revenue. Transitioning to the role of VP/GM of ARM’s Client Business Unit, Nandan managed the strategic evolution of IP products into vertical businesses. Subsequently, Nandan served as the head of SDK products at Amazon Alexa Devices. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at BrainChip, overseeing Marketing, Product, and Business Strategy for the neuromorphic Edge AI solutions.

At Baya, as Chief Commercial Officer, Nandan will lead all commercial activities including business development, sales, marketing, and strategic alliances. Collaborating closely with Engineering and Architecture teams, he aims to accelerate Baya’s trailblazing IP and software solutions for semiconductor industry, and in particular, the chiplet economy.

“We are delighted to welcome Nandan to the Baya family,” remarked Sailesh Kumar, CEO at Baya. “His exceptional leadership acumen and dedication to innovation perfectly resonate with our commitment to pushing boundaries.”

“Semiconductors are seeing phenomenal growth, and with that comes an exponential increase in complexity, and an ever-shortening design cycle” Nandan stated, “I am excited to be part of Baya’s talented, dynamic and forward-thinking team whose mission is to develop transformative solutions that address the next-generation challenges our customers face.”

Ravikanth is a distinguished expert in caching, coherency, and fabric engineering, with a wealth of experience in both technical leadership and hands-on engineering roles at Intel, Samsung, AMD, and Rivos. His recent tenure as Principal Engineering Manager at Rivos saw him successfully spearhead the Gen1 Coherent and Infra Fabrics, and Chiplet IPs. Prior to Rivos, Ravikanth held key positions at AMD Infinity Fabric, where he led grounds-up development of Compute Express Link (CXL), Coherent Fabric interface for CXL, and accelerator/IO Cache, and at Samsung, where he was key contributor to L3 Cache, Coherency, Prefetchers, and Mesh Interconnect for Exynos ARM CPU.

With two decades of architectural and engineering prowess, Ravikanth has contributed significantly to the development of Caches, Coherency Protocols, Networks on Chip (NoCs), and CPUs. Ravikanth’s reputation extends beyond delivering top designs; he is recognized for crafting meticulous Architecture Specifications, offering invaluable guidance on Floorplan, Placement, and Timing closure, and conducting in-depth Performance analysis.

In his new role as Senior Director of HW Engineering at Baya, Ravikanth will play a pivotal role in leading all engineering activities, ensuring the delivery of premium-quality hardware and transformative software solutions. Collaborating closely with Business and Customer teams, he aims to establish Baya as a pioneer in the semiconductor IP and chiplet industry.
